By the deeply movement, I couldn't help myself crying during the reading course when Dr. Sid mentioned "I Have a Dream by Martin Luther King, 1963".
By the dule voice Dr. Sid speaking, it brought me coming into the past, to the Lincoln Memorial in Washington. DC. Auguest 28 1963, and I listened, moved, and cried...
I don't know how to describe this kind of feeling, maybe just because of the "Dream".
Dream, dream, dream....
Dreams make us positve, hopeful, and desire for something happens someday.
It may be the "True", but mostly it just can be only a "Dream".
American Dreams mentioned that all people are created equal.
And the Americans have been trying to reach and come true their Dreams.
But... what's ours?
What's the Taiwanese Dream?
I have no ideas about it although I love Taiwan so much and I'm so proud of my country.
That's why my tears ran out from my eyes during the class when Dr. Sid sang the song "We can overcome someday..."
But I know we'll overcome someday.
All about our dreams I wait and pray.
It may be not true, but I shall keep the ideal dreams in my mind.
For someday...
