My Opinions about MultiMedia

★How can you/do you use MultiMedia (for example Powerpoint/Desktop Publishing/Video/Audio) in your classroom?

I use MultiMedia to support my teaching when the course is in need. For example, I use Powerpoint to show some pictures or articles when I want to tell them important things yet they can't read from the textbooks. I also use Publisher designing some invitation cards, birthday cards, and letters for my students. In my classroom, Video and Audio are also played when the course is proceeding. After I finish a course, I always need some films and music to support my teaching ability.

★How can you/do you/do you want to use Multimedia in your classroom?

Although I hadn't learned lots about Multimedia since I was an university student several years ago, I think it's very important to me to learn the "new" teaching methods and apply them to the course in my class. I think we can't take a static view of everything, especially teaching. We shouldn't use the only one way we're taught by our teachers to teach our present students and tell them how to live in the future. We should draw new ideas constantly, applying Multimedia to our course in class is one of these. The new idea to use Multimedia can compelete and enriches our course if we are in need. It also can attract students' attention when the course starts and goes on. If we use it well, it will be useful and convenient to us. And we'll enjoy not only teaching but playing and have lots of fun.

★How can you/do you use a digital camera/scanner or other mulitmedia devices in the classroom?

I use my digital camera to show the photos about the topic of the course, students' activities, and picture books, when the course is in need. Indeed, I take the photos being a teaching aid. I also use camera to record stuents' daily life and create a DVD for them when they graduate from school. I think it may be a precious gift to all of them to keep their sweet childhood memory. :)
